Host Housing for the Gran Prix of Gloucester

1 September 2008

Cyclocross season is rapidly approaching and so is our own GRan Prix of Gloucester.

This year's doubleheader is part of an 8 race series known as the North American Cyclocross Trophy Points Championship. This new series should bring riders from all over the country in unprecedented numbers to race here in Gloucester.

Many of these racers are doing this on minimal budgets and to help make their racing possible we are looking for people who are willing to help them out by being home hosts for the weekend.

Having done this in 2005 and 2006 (and planning to do it agin this year), I can tell you that home hosting is easy and it is fun. It allows you to meet racers from all over the US and even some from other countries. It gives you someone to cheer for, to talk bikes and bike racing with, or just to make new freinds.

I am trying to create a list of home host sites and the number of folks they can accomodate so that when requests come in we can fill them early and easily.

Please contact me by e-mail at bruce@gpgloucester.com
